The company Sui Southern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) distributes gas throughout Pakistan. In 1963, the company was formed as a private company under British India’s Companies Act of 1913. In 1964, it became a public limited company under the Companies Act of 1913. Nearly 50 years of gas pipeline construction, maintenance, service, and operation have been completed throughout the country.
The SNGPL has been providing quality gas services to over 6.5 million customers in North Central Pakistan since it secured the lands of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. There is also a Pakistani stock exchange code SNGP assigned to it. It is also responsible for designing the pipelines, which total 94,263 kilometers in length.
